It was great fishing out of the same port as the Andrea Gale, the site of The Perfect Storm. Fortunately, the water was calm, the skies were clear, and the fish were biting.
The best part was... I won my first fishing pool!!! That's $77 and a free fare for the next trip!!! I sure do love that Yankee Fleet out of Gloucester, MA.
All together we had about 4 Pollock, 3 Cusk, 1 Haddock, and 1 Cod and a dumpload of sand sharks that we threw back. There were very few throw backs.
